This contemporary, three-bedroomed villa is remarkably private and has the best of both worlds: a relatively wind-free outdoor entertaining and pool area which is tucked up against trees on one side, as well as views of the sea from the terrace leading off the dining area and some of the bedrooms. 

The living area is up on the first floor and has a discreet working kitchen set back from the open-plan living area but also has a gas hob and extractor built into a generous central island with six comfy, upholstered bar stools around it � the ideal place for quick wok meals or breakfasts together. It�s a great kitchen for those who love to share their cooking with friends or family. This leads into an informal lounge area, ideal for families with teens or couples who want to chill and watch television while everyone is chatting in the adjacent more formal lounge area. Satellite and a 50-inch plasma screen is provided. The entire living area is framed with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors that open outdoors onto the alfresco dining terrace or the pool deck, giving the whole floor excellent flow and enough space and privacy for three couples sharing. 

Stairs lead to a study nook with a dedicated computer and library area on the second floor, with three beautifully appointed bedrooms beyond, all with glorious large glass windows, high ceilings and very spacious en-suite bathrooms with quality fittings. Each one has an i-pod docking station and a plasma screen. Jacuzzi baths feature in two of the en-suite bathrooms. Attention to detail is excellent and every possible comfort thoughtfully catered for. Lighting is varied with adjustable downlighters and side lamps.

This house is secure, and the double garage on the ground floor has direct access into the house as well as an elevator. Air conditioning is provided throughout, which is ideal for hot summer days. Daily housekeeping is available during the week.

Villa Chilworth is in a quiet, treed street and is a relatively short walk from the beach. Camps Bay is a popular summer holiday destination because there�s so much to do along the promenade. Its famous palm-lined beach is the closest but Glen Beach is a short walk beyond on the Lion�s Head side and the four wind-protected beaches of Clifton are a five-minute drive from the villa. Shopping at the V&A Waterfront is a mere 20 minutes away and the cableway station on Table Mountain is literally 10 minutes up the hill. In the evenings, if you�re not relaxing around your own barbeque on the terrace, you have a multitude of good restaurants to choose from in Camps Bay or in the city.
