This villa in Fresnaye is a towering structure in stone-grey and dark-shaded tones. Its majestic, Mahogany door entrance opens up to an upper-floor over-looking and encircling the lower and is  secured by stainless-steel and wood balustrades.  The top floor has four bedrooms. Two have plasma screen TVs, DVD players and satellite connections and armed-response security systems . Adaptable in its environment, the villa comes with underfloor heating throughout all bedrooms. The ambience of the homes interior is maintained through a steady continuity of gleaming darks and blacks, brilliant whites, travertine tiling, glass accents and lots of mirrors. The sublimely minimalist approach to the atmospheric appeal has been curbed and softened by means of the masterful arrangements of  over-sized, original artworks painted in brilliant primary,s and depicting all things conceivably archetypal and  African in many rainbow tones.  Now and again the smooth tranquillity of the home is broken by a free-standing sculpture or  furniture centre-piece, some of  which tend to be incredibley post-modern and auspiciously similar to revered, original works the connoisseur s memory might conjure up in a coveted moment of instant recognition. The home bears legendary marks of unconventional style in very moderate scatterings. One of these, the reed-woven authentic grass covered entrance room wall, is absolute beautiful.

Two of the upstairs bedrooms are smaller than the remaining two and share an en-suite bathroom by means of adjoining, internal doors. Each room shares a large balcony patio accompanied by an outdoor lounge furniture arrangement and has a view of an ocean expanse that makes jaws drop. The garage is also accessed from this floor and can comfortably park three cars inside. The floor also includes a large and private room transformed into a quiet study. Here one is supplied with ample desk room, a phenomenal view of the ocean/garden outdoors, a leather couch and an ample-stocked area of shelving from which to select a paper-back choice for holiday reads. The study also comes with its own en-suite which conveniently includes its own shower. The Master-suite is accessed via stairs and comprised within its own, individual storey of the villa. Walk-in wardrobe heaven is finished with mirrors and red velvet. The tones are very decadent and the textures indulgent. Plush chocolate carpeting and colours of creamy whites, pearls, caramel and brown are upholstered luxuriously in every piece imaginable. Raw silk curtains frame the space with a metallic shimmer. The room has an entertainment centre fitted with a large plasma screen, DVD player, sound-system and satellite TV. It has its own private balcony with an intimate arrangement of outside furniture. The en-suite is simply too much fun, if one can possibly attribute these traits to a room meant for bathing. The double-head shower is a large, frameless marble expanse that may be utilised as a steam room and comes fixed with individual marble seats. A vintage-style free standing tub completes the authentic marble-clad room alongside  dual vanities.

The majestic spiral staircase finished in mahogany wood allows one a grand entrance to the descend of the living area below. The special treat here is the innovative transformation of a  rear room into a very serious poker room. The authentic and bona-fide poker table is any enthusiasts incarnation of their favourite  playing fantasy. It is resplendent in its brightly red-hued felt surface and is framed by rich wood, ample seating and a warm glow from the rusts and reds of the antique hand-spun Gabbeh rug. Enormous floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall sand-blasted glass doors shield the view of a simply huge wine cellar ante-room. Additionally, this secluded room of late night indulgence is one that includes a fully-stocked bar, fridge, ice-machine, freezer, plasma screen with satellite TV and surround-sound music system. The room also has glass doors opening up onto a private corner of the gardens lush greenery. The lounge/kitchen/dining area is comprised within one open expanse dominating the ground floor. An exquisitely crafted clear-glass dining table sits ten people and an additional semi-formal island with bar-stool seating has been erected just behind to serve as an entertaining sitting area, a bar or as an additional work surface for kitchen  use. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with top of the range appliances for every conceivable culinary requirement, a wine/champagne fridge, two big fridges and freezers and a rear scullery and fully equipped laundry room.  The laundry room simultaneously exits to the staff-quarters at the road facing side of the property. Here a full-time housekeeper and butler/gardener or male housekeeper reside during week-days.

The formal lounge area is spectacular and incorporates the use of dazzling, original materials such as imported Italian Faux-Mohair plush carpeting, silvery velvet chais-lounges, gold embossed; ornate wingbacks, loads of authentic marble fittings, raw silk curtains and a feature-piece wall made up of an array of geometrically layered slivers of mirror.  A surround-sound system is attached to a music-entertainment  device of superior technology to create any given ambience. Completing this room is a masterfully crafted marble-ensconced gas fireplace. The multi-layered mirrored wall dually serves as a divider between the formal-lounge and the TV/entertainment room. The room is essentially a large sunken space with a wrap-around velvet lounge suit hugging its perimeter. An absolutely gigantic LCD screen home theatre system has been fitted into a wall-unit containing every imaginable home-theatre related piece of equipment.
The villa outside area is divided amongst a pool area, informal cocktail/sundowner lounge over-looking the  unimaginably wide expanse of ocean beyond and an additional 14 seater outside dining table is positioned alongside a beautiful corner of overgrown garden. Ideal for families with younger children, the addition of a jungle-gym structure is a definitive place for them to safely play for hours,. At 8 meters long, the  pool is particularly long and deep by most luxury villa stadards. For safety, this stunning infinity pool is cordon-off enclosed with transparent wire mesh fencing. It can also be heated if  so desired. Finally, an ample-sized stretch of grass is somewhere that supplies a  wonderfully inviting atmosphere from where to stretch out on recliners and soak up hours of Summer sunlight whilst contemplating the endless horizon and perhaps even spotting a whale or a dolphin in the blue-green waters of a sea that, from here, appears to lie but just a stones-throw away.
